Walking the Way of the Cross procession in Walsall is a popular Easter street procession and service that takes place on Good Friday. It follows the story of Jesus of Nazareth carrying his cross who is guarded by Roman soldiers and played by actors. Meet in Gallery Square outside Poundland from 10am for a 10:30am start.

Organised by Walsall Town Centre Ministry with contributions from a number of churches from different denominations, this event attracts Christians from across the borough and the surrounding area. It is usually attended by several hundred people, and the service usually finishes at about 11.30am.
