Occurring
Every Sunday at for 1 hour, 30 mins
Venue Address
Stafford Street WALSALL, WS2 8DX, United Kingdom
This is an informal service with lively worship music and practical Bible teaching, usually with Holy Communion. It lasts about 1½ hours, followed by something to drink and a chance to chat.

Children in primary school start in the church hall for breakfast and group activities. We are committed to good safeguarding practice so all of the volunteers have been safely recruited and receive supervision. The children join the service for the last half an hour, including Holy Communion.

There are activity packs available for younger children who stay with their grown up throughout the service. There is a breakout space available through the doors at the back of church, if this is useful. The glass panels and audio relay mean that you can still keep up with what's going on in the service.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Walsall: St Peter is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Lichfield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please speak to our PSO, Kim Baker, our church wardens, or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, the full team can be found here: https://www.lichfield.anglican.org/safeguarding/ . If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
