Saint Peter's is a Victorian Parish Church in the Catholic Tradition of the Church of England. From April 2017 the benefice has been held in plurality with the Parish of Saint Francis of Assisi, Friar Park. Both Churches have passed the House of Bishops' Declaration on Episcopal Ministry and the Bishop of Lichfield has extended his pastoral oversight to the Bishop of Ebbsfleet.
