On Saturday 9th August, a congregation of 2 and 4 legged worshippers gathered outside St Stephen's for our annual Pet Blessing Service. We even welcomed Tilly, our first tortoise! We enjoyed plenty of singing/barking/howling and reflected on the gift God gives us in our companion animals and all his wonderful creation. The service was followed by some well-deserved refreshment and treats for all.
A group of hardy souls spent 2 nights in the elements either sleeping on the church roof or in the grounds to raise money for the Raise the Roof campaign.A great time was had by all as we enjoyed food, fun and fellowship together. It is hoped that the Sleepover will become an annual event for St Stephen's - perhaps on tera firma next time!
Well we did pray for a sunny day - and boy did we get it!!!This year's Summer Fair was the hottest yet! With a bumper lot of stalls and activities and our very first Summer Fair BBQ, we all had a sweaty but great time.
What an amazing time we had this week as the LIFE Exhibition visited Willenhall. We saw 502 children come through the doors across the 6 days of the exhibition and it was clear that they had an absolutely brilliant time.We have had some wonderful feedback from the schools and already have the return visit pencilled in for 2027!!
