After many years of waiting and fund-raising, we finally have a new roof at St Stephens! The work has taken approximately 3 months to complete and was the result of a huge number of people's hard work and dedication. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has made this possible. From sponsoring sleepovers and Rogation Rambles to donating through our Just Giving page. Everyone has been incredibly generous. We would also like to say a big thank you to all the grant-making bodies that have supported the work so generously: EnovertThe James Beattie Charitable TrustTPLG (Trusts, Projects, Loans and Grants) Lichfield DioceseThe Benefact Trust The National Churches Trust
On Saturday 24th January, a crowd gathered at St Stephen's to celebrate Burns-tide with a BIG Brunch. We enjoy fantastic food and fellowship and experienced the traditional Piping in and Ode to the Haggis. For the brave, there was even a taster and a dram of whiskey to wash it down! A great time was had by all.
