On Monday 5th September the church hall was filled with the sounds of singing as we celebrated the 80th Anniversary of VE Day with a community afternoon tea and war time sing-a-long.Appropriately, we welcomed 80 people to this free event which ended with much flag waving as we raised the roof with songs from the Last Night of the Proms.A great time was had by all!
On the 22nd March, the church was packed with a whole host of stalls, games and other activities for the Spring Fair.The event was fantastically attended and a great time was had by all.The fair also saw the launch of our new 'Raise the Roof' Campaign, which will be raising money throughout the year for replacement of the existing (leaking) church roof!£220 was donated, which represents sponsorship of 44 tiles - a great start!
The sun shone brightly for our Activity Day on 18th February. We had great fun exploring our theme of 'God's Love', with music, dancing and crafts plus all the usual football, tennis, basketball, pool, table tennis, computer games.....
On Friday 14th January, St Stephen's hosted this year's Agape Supper to mark the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.We welcomed Christians from across the Willenhall area and enjoyed, food, fellowship and great worship together.
