About Us

St. Andrew's Church serves the community of Porthill in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. The postcode to find us is ST5 8AB. We are located on the corner of Watlands View and High Street.

We have three regular services: Sunday 8am (BCP Said Eucharist), Sunday 11am (Sung Eucharist with choir), and Wednesday 7pm (Said Eucharist). The last 11am service of every month is a Family Eucharist. The tradition of our worship is broadly Modern Catholic, with elements of Anglo-Catholicism.

St. Andrew's has a number of regular activities, including Mothers' Union and the Women's Fellowship. Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Guides, Brownies and Rainbows meet at the Church Hall on Lawson Terrace, Porthill. Times and contact details for all these are available on the church website.

Baptisms/Christenings normally take place during the 11am service. Weddings can be arranged on request. Please contact the vicar, Fr. Chris, for more information.
