St Jude's Church Wolverhampton
Welcome to our website, it provides information on our worship services and events.
ENGLAND IS IN ITS THIRD CORONAVIRUS LOCKDOWN. TO HELP REDUCE VIRUS TRANSMISSION IN WOLVERHAMPTON OUR CHURCH BUILDING IS SHUT FOR MORNING WORSHIP BUT YOU CAN WATCH ON LINE - GO TO THE VIRTUAL VICAR PAGE ON THIS WEBSITE
When you come to church, come as you are, you don’t need to wear special clothes and you can sit where you like (at the moment, 2.0m apart from non-family members). Once the formal service has finished there are currently no refreshments, and we ask everyone to promptly and quietly leave the building. As we come out of coronavirus lock down we have taken other measures to keep everyone safe – hand cleansing, social distancing, one-way circulation. For now, there is no corporate singing (because that creates an added risk of passing on infection). And we currently have no separate activities for children or crèche for toddlers during a service. Please keep your children safe during your visit to church by keeping them close to you at all times.
If you want to know what it means to be a Christian talk to Phil our vicar, on the phone, or visit him at the vicarage, or come to one of our services.
