About Us

Our main act of worship is on a Sunday morning at 10.15 am and is a Service of Holy Communion 'Called to One Table' with special activities for our children and young people including Roots and Godly Play. We  have food available after the service for anyone to stay and enjoy friendship together, cooked by members of the congregation. We often run Baptism classes for Adults after the service in both English and Farsi as well as singing rehersals open to all. We have a Sunday afternoon gathering for Farsi speakers that starts at 2.30pm that includes worship and bible study exploring a book of the bible or an aspect of the Christian faith. Every Thursday evening we have a study group in English recently we have explored The Pilgrim Course, Living Faith and Operation Noah's Tenants of the King

We have many different groups and activities that meet during the week including an Easy Line Gym, a Gardening Group, an arts and Craft group, an Adult Mental Health Drop-In and Sanctuary Solidarity - that seeks to encourage support and solidarity between and with migrant, asylum and refugee communities and we are part of the Welcome Churches Network. Our Church is always open on a Monday and Friday morning from 10.00am to 12.00noon - anyone is welcome to drop in for a tea or coffee and a chat, or just to pray, or to enjoy the peace and quiet . We are a part of the Places of Welcome network.

We are a very diverse  community and seek to be an inclusive congregation and are part of the Inclusive Church Network. You will be made very welcome - so do come along and see us!

AT THE END OF 2016 WE SET THREE  PRIORITIES FOR OUR MISSION AS A CHURCH

1. Learning to share our faith

2. Increasing our inclusivity

3 Deepening our relationship with our diverse local community
