Join us on Mothering Sunday as we host Family Worship where we will learn the history of Mothering Sunday and celebrate the impact that mothers have on people's lives.

Leighton St.Mary

St Mary's Church in Leighton is in one of the twelve parishes in the benefice of Haughmond and Wrekin. The parish sits in rural Shropshire to the south of The Wrekin hill.

We offer a service in the church on most Sundays. Please check our Services/Events page for timings and occasional date changes.

We also offer Messy Church, family friendly inter-generational worship, in other parishes in our benefice. On the First Sunday in a month this is at High Ercall Village Hall. On the second Sunday in a month, Messy Church is offered both in the morning (Ellerdine Village Hall at 9.30am) and in the afternoon (Rodington Village Hall at 3pm). Wrockwardine Village Hall is the location on the fourth Sunday each month at 9.30 am.
