About Us

St Martin of Tours Church has been described by visitors as 'charming', 'peaceful' and 'beautifully simple'. It dates back to the end of the 11th Century, when it was a chapel of the Priory of St Martin in Dover, now incorporated into Dover College.

Visitors will always find a warm welcome , even if the heating and plumbing facilities owe more to the Normans than the modern day! If you are just visiting, the key is available from the village pub.
