Set next to a picturesque farmyard, this grade 1 listed Early English church boasts a magnificent view of the South Downs where, as Pevsner puts it, 'the scarp becomes a vast natural amphitheatre to the south of Bignor.' Pevsner also praises the 'utter simplicity' of its interior. The church has a two-bay south aisle. The north aisle is blocked. Overall a 'coherent and effective' interior.

We enjoy a lively BCP sung matins every third Sunday at 11.30am. Every fifth Sunday we have BCP Holy Communion with hymns. This is the ideal church to celebrate the benefice's annual Harvest Thanksgiving at the beginning of October. There are plans for an annual pet service and perhaps a plough service, if we can find a suitable plough.

The church boasts a very spiritual carving of the Annunciation on the east wall between the two round-headed lancet windows (c 1100). This is a reminder of the important role Our Lady played in our salvation.
