Welcome to the Parish of All Saints Danehill with Chelwood Gate! We are part of the Church of England and come from a variety of backgrounds and ages. We are united by our commitment to the Bible's message that Jesus is our God and our Rescuer. It is the message of life with which we long to reach our community.
The building at Chelwood Gate was built as a 'Chapel of Ease' not long after the main parish building in Danehill was completed so that the residents local to Chelwood Gate would not have to travel the longer journey on foot to the church building at Danehill. The Chelwood Gate building is located on the edge of the beautiful Ashdown Forest. The other church building (in Danehill) is the main meeting place for the worshipping community in the parish.
