We raised the rafters praising God singing carols & remembering the Christmas story. Adde Grommet started the service off singing solo the first verse of Once in Royal Davids City. We were accompanied by an accomplished wind band and Roger, our Church organist. Afterwards we all enjoyed mulled wine, little sausages and mince pies.
The Church was beautifully decorated - with arrangements all around the building and about 20 little trees which had been decorated beautifully by parishioners. The little lights on the trees sparked throughout the service.
Rev'd Stephen Hills presented everyone with a 'diamond' and spoke about the greatest gift that last for eternity - Jesus Christ.
