A Solemn Mass commemorating the Last Supper with Footwashing.
At the end of Mass there is a Procession to the Altar of Repose where we remember the Agony of Jesus' in the Garden of Gethsemane.
The altars are then stripped of all embellishments whilst we listen to Psalm 22.

An opportunity to learn more about Holy Week and Easter through activities and crafts.
We will end the session with a short service in the church.
Hot Cross Buns will be served afterwards in the Church Hall.

Veneration of the Cross

We light the New Fire outside the church and from it light the Paschal Candle.
We process with the Light of Christ into a darkened church to proclaim afresh the Good News that the Resurrection has happened. Jesus is Risen! Alleluia!

Common Worship Eucharist followed by coffee and fellowship in the Hall next door.
