St Mary's

Welcome , everyone, to St Mary's East Guldeford which has been standing here for over 500 years.

We are the only member of The Historic Romney Marsh Churches in East Sussex, the rest being in Kent.  Come to a service on the first Sunday of the months April to December or just visit to admire the beautiful Angel Fresco and read the information about it and Charles ffoulkes, who painted it in 1898. This, and more information, is on the desk at the back of the church.

Easter Vigil

Our Easter Vigil featuring the Exsultet sung by Martin Bruce, will take place at St Mary's East Guldeford. Please meet outside the Church at 18.45 for the lighting of the fire and lighting of the candles as we enter the Church for the start of the service. Suitable foot wear and a torch are recommended as our Church is situated in a grass field that can be uneven underfoot.
