Blessing of the Lambs Service

Being one of the Historic Romney Marshes Churches we have a limited number of services each year.
Our first of 2025 is on Sunday 4th of May and is a Blessing of this years new Lambs service with Holy Communion. The service starts at 2.00 pm, there will be Ewes and lambs in the Church yard and refreshments served afterwards.
Whilst we normally welcome our four legged friends to St Mary's, this is one occasion where we please ask that no dogs are brought to this service, as this would cause distress to the ewes and their lambs.

St Mary's

Welcome , everyone, to St Mary's East Guldeford which has been standing here for over 500 years.

We are the only member of The Historic Romney Marsh Churches in East Sussex, the rest being in Kent.  Come to a service on the first Sunday of the months April to December or just visit to admire the beautiful Angel Fresco and read the information about it and Charles ffoulkes, who painted it in 1898. This, and more information, is on the desk at the back of the church.
