Church of England Diocese of Chichester East Preston Saint Mary

St Mary the Virgin, East Preston with Kingston

***Whilst public worship has not been suspended during this national Lockdown, the worrying rise in cases in our areas means that the difficult decision has been taken to close St Mary's with immediate effect so that everyone can follow Government guidance to 'Stay Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives'***

If you live in East Preston or Kingston, then St Mary’s is your Parish Church. The church is open from 9am-5pm every day for you to sit quietly, light a candle & spend some time in private prayer. There are regular Sunday services at 8am & 10am, as well as 10am on Thursdays & 7:30pm on the first Tuesday of every month.

The parish of St. Mary East Preston is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
