About Us
Egdean is a hamlet situated one mile from the ancient Sussex town of Petworth overlooking the Rother valley and south towards the Downs, it is an idyllic location. The church is believed to have been built to serve the once extensive farming community in the area.
The worship at St. Bartholomew's is of a simple, traditional style. We are of a welcoming, friendly open nature and our church is a relaxed environment in which people come to worship. Our chuch is open because of its rural locality, All are Welcome
