Everyone is welcome at Christ Church
Our Building
Music and Worship
Christ Church has a superb ring of bells and a team of ringers. Ask Caroline Shaw for more details.
We are pleased to be a venue for live musical concerts and can claim to be the home of The Visari Singers.
Christ Church has a good chamber organ and we have a faithful band of organists who play regularly for our services.
Groups, Courses and Activities
This year we are following the Diocesan Lent Course on St Matthew's Gospel.
The Group will be meeting at St John's Hall at 11.00am on Wednesdays during Lent ending with a frugal lunch of soup and bread. Donations to Christian Aid.
On the First Thursday of most months we hold a Drop-In Coffee Morning.
Village residents and Visitors are most welcome to come along for coffee and cake in our Spiritual Home.
Help for Visitors
We have a resident dog who attends all our services and enjoys meeting new people afterwards during coffee time.
Other Features
Christ Church is in the Ashdown Forest, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Ashdown Conservators graciously allow those visiting the church, or churchyard, to use the Forest Car Park adjacent to the church for a short period of time.
For longer visits please refer to Caroline Shaw with details of your number plate as the Conservators charge for parking in all car parks across the Ashdown Forest.
