St Augustine's Church is hosting an Open Day to showcase our beautiful church. Come and see the exceptional decoration in the Chancel. All are very welcome! There will be a few montages of photographs from across the years of life of Flimwell Village. Birth, Death and Marriage registers will also be available to be viewed.

The Cuckmere String Quartet are returning to host another concert in aid of the 'Save our Spire' campaign and will include the harpist ANNA WYNNE. They will be playing many favourites including Faure’s ‘In Paradisum’ and Saint Saens’ ‘The Swan. The concert starts at 4:30pm and will include refreshments in the interval. Tickets are £15 on the door.

A non-eucharistic service on 2nd Sundays. October - Harvest Festival, November - Remembrance, December - Carol Service at 4.30pm instead. Includes hymns, sermon and prayers. Alternates with contemporary Morning Prayer. See our website pop-up noticeboard for any updates in the week prior.

Our monthly Communion is on the fourth Sunday of the month. Normally on Christmas Day (not on the 4th Sun in Dec) and on Easter Day also. Hymns, sermon and prayers.
