Churchyard

The Diocesan regulations relevant to the churchyard at Church in the Wood are found at: https://www.chichester.anglican.org/documents/chichester-churchyard-regulations/

The regulations tell you who has responsibility for the churchyard, what is and is not permitted within it and how to obtain permission for introducing items into the churchyard. A shortened version of these regulations is also on the main church noticeboard and the back door [north side door] to the church.

We ask that people do not litter the churchyard. We ask that families take all personal belongings home with them. Items left behind headstones or in hedges will be disposed of.

We ask that people exercising their dogs in the churchyard keep them on a lead at all times out of respect for families who have loved ones buried here.
