We are a friendly family church in an historical setting with lots of parking close to the church. Children are always welcome but may prefer to come to our shorter all age worship service on the first Sunday of each month, which starts at 10.45am. There is also an earlier traditional said service at 8.00am . On the second Sunday we celebrate Holy Communion and there is a shorter service of Family Communion on the third Sunday. On the fourth Sunday we join with the congregation at the other church in the parish, St Nicholas, at Wasing. Fifth Sunday services rotate around the benefice with further details available from the benefice website. All our services start at 10.45am, using Common Worship and  Hymns Old and New. We always have coffee after the 10.45 services and there is a box of toys for those who want to play.

This pattern may change for special festivals such as Christmas and Easter but all changes will be on the website as well as on the noticeboard and in the parish magazine.

St. Mary the Virgin is one of six churches in the Benefice of Aldermaston and Woolhampton. For information about the Benefice, including who's who in the ministry team, Benefice news, services in our other churches, and events and activities, please click here:
