Since early January 2026 St Stephen’s Church and St Leodegar’s Church have been in a period of Interregnum due to the move of the Reverend May Barker to a new appointment on Hayling Island. So, unfortunately, there is anticipated to be several months, at best, without a regular vicar. However, the churches will continue to operate as best possible under the leadership of the churchwardens and the Rural Dean.
