St Michael's Newhaven

St. Michael’s is a friendly evangelical Anglican Church in the centre of Newhaven, seeking to follow Jesus and make him known.

We seek to root all we do in what God has revealed in the Bible, believing that the way of Jesus is the best and most exciting way to live our lives. You don’t need to be a convinced Christian to come along to our services or events - we love to welcome those exploring the Christian faith and run courses designed for those wanting to find out more. Please come and join us!

For further information about us, please visit our website: and check out our Facebook page ‘St. Michael’s Newhaven and St. Leonard’s Denton’.

The parish of Newhaven: St Michael is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Our Parish Safeguarding Officer is Mrs Katherine Savage who can be contacted on 07976 648562‬
