We welcomed Rev May, her husband Nigel and their son Joe to St Stephen's Church and St Leodegar's Church on 1 July 2021. The service was led by the Bishop of Chichester, the Right Rev Martin Warner - he shared a powerful message and a hearty welcome to Rev May as priest. Stephen partnered with her. It was so lovely to have her take this service and sharing a bit about her walk of faith, and to meet Marcus the bear. Our new incumbent is Reverend May Barker. She is married to Nigel and they have a 21 year old son, Joe, who is at uni.We are hoping that she and her family will join us mid-July. They will be moving into the Rectory.
