Since early January 2026 St Stephen’s Church has been in a period of Interregnum due to the move of the Reverend May Barker to a new appointment on Hayling Island. So, unfortunately, there is anticipated to be several months, at best, without a regular vicar. However, the church will continue to operate as best possible under the leadership of the churchwardens and the Rural Dean. Any enquiries should be directed to either of the churchwardens as follows:EMail: stswardens@mundhamhunstonchurches.co.uk

We welcomed Rev May, her husband Nigel and their son Joe to St Stephen's Church and St Leodegar's Church on 1 July 2021. The service was led by the Bishop of Chichester, the Right Rev Martin Warner - he shared a powerful message and a hearty welcome to Rev May as priest. You can watch a recording of the service here https://youtu.be/9ImO6mCM5EMRev May had her first service at St Stephen's Church on Sunday 4 July 2021, a Holy Communion Service. Stephen partnered with her. It was so lovely to have her take this service and sharing a bit about her walk of faith, and to meet Marcus the bear. You can watch this service on https://youtu.be/rfmJfhJt6xM.Rev May Barker will be available on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Her contact details can be found in connect magazine or on our website.
