Welcome to St Nicholas Church, Poling, a beautiful Saxon Church set in the old village of Poling. St Nicholas has been a place of worship for over ten centuries and continues to be a place where you are welcome to spend some time in quiet contemplation and time out from our very busy world. Come and sit and enjoy the peace and beauty of this place and say a prayer or leave a prayerful 'wish' on our prayer tree in the church.
On Sundays we continue to use the 1662 Book of Common Prayer for all services. Please see our services and events section for times of regular services and for occasional special events. If you wish to enquire about baptisms (christenings), confirmation , weddings or any other special event or memory you wish to mark in church, please email the priest in charge for information.
Our church is usually open during daylight hours. If you are making a special journey to visit, please email us to avoid disappointment.
