The St Mary's Eco Church team, with the support of the vicar, PCC, congregation and friends across the village have gained the Silver Eco Church Award. A key element of the award was to bravely go all-electric in the church buildings, when our gas boiler failed and to coordinate a whole-village Eco focused event last October. We continue our commitment to this ongoing challenge.
