Church of England Diocese of Chichester Ringmer

St Mary's, Ringmer

Ringmer's Parish Church at the heart of our busy community offers you a warm welcome. As Lockdown eases, we are beginning to add services in church to our online worship. The current pattern is the first and third Sundays in Church at 10am and the second and fourth Sundays with a simple recorded service or meditation on the website.

The First Sunday is a simple all-age service, usually lasting around 30 minutes and other services incorporate a Eucharist service.

St Mary the Virgin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

The First Sunday of the Month is our All Age Service - a short and informal service of worship on family friendly theme! It's great introduction to St Mary's and we often incorporate a "reflective" task or craft but don't let that put you off.
