The church has a unisex toilet facility located at ground level.
Our church has baby changing facilities in the toilet area as well as a full creche facility during the service.
Car parking is available on the public roads nearby.
The church and centre have a full disabled access toilet on each site.

A defibrillator is available at the Church Centre (at the bottom of the slope on London Road) with instructions of how to access the equipment on the front of the cabinet.
Our church building has ramped access to the side of the main entrance.
The church building offers a loop hearing system for those with hearing impediments and our crèche room has the service relayed through a speaker for those to enjoy in the separate room.

We are a dog friendly church and welcome well behaved dogs into the church during our Sunday morning service. All assistance dogs are welcome.
During Covid 19 lockdown the church is open for individual prayer on Sunday afternoons from 2 pm - 3.30 pm.
Music and Worship
Our 8 am Holy Communion services use the Book of Common Prayer on the second Sunday of each month.
Groups, Courses and Activities

Brownies meet on Wednesday evenings at the church centre from 5.30 pm. For further information and to enquiry about a space for your child please contact [email protected]
We support the local CAP group with donations from our Harvest giving.
Our coffee mornings are held on Tuesdays at 11 am. We meet in the church centre during the winter months and in the church during the rest of the year. There is always a friendly face waiting to greet newcomers and lots of tea, coffee and cake!

At St Matthew's we host the Snowflake Winter Night Shelter each winter on a Sunday evening and early Monday morning.
‘Smarties’ our popular parent and toddler group meet during term time on Wednesday mornings at 10 am in the church centre. The group offers a good range of toys and an organised craft activity each session, and refreshments for all before joining in a singalong to complete the morning. There is also a breakfast club in the church from 9.15 am available prior to Smarties.
Help for Visitors
Our church is open during the summer months and run by a team of volunteers. It’s a time for meeting local people as well as enjoying the peace and quiet in an interesting building. The church is open on Wednesday mornings 10.30-12 and Thursday morning and afternoon 10.30-12 and 2-3.30 and there is always a welcome cup of tea or coffee and biscuits.
The church family donate food for the work of the food bank that is delivered to the co-ordinations at Kings church regularly.
