One of our priorities for 2024 is to form the West Weald Schools Team. A significant part of this ministry is going to be praying for our schools. If you are, or would like to be, involved in schools in any way (as a teacher, governor, parent, reader or volunteer), or you simply have a heart to pray for our schools, then we would like to invite you to join us for a time of prayer for the schools in our locality.

St Mark's Church, Staplefield

Welcome to St Mark's, Staplefield. We're a small rural church part of the wider West Weald Parish. Our church building is open to visitors throughout the week as well as for worship every Sunday at 9.00am.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Slaugham and Staplefield Common is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
