Alternatively, there are a number local churches, including St John's, that have recorded services you can follow at home. You can find these on A Church Near You.We continue to pray for our world, our community and our loved ones as we face this pandemic. Our Lord will provide us strength and comfort us in our troubles.Stay safe and God bless.
After a difficult and unprecedented 2020, we are looking forward to a happier 2021. We know many challenges lie ahead for our country, community and St Richard's. With the pandemic still surging and the knowledge that it will be some time before the vaccine allows us to return to some form of normality, we are praying for God's supernatural strength to keep us firm through the months ahead. We give thanks for all the many acts of kindness we have experienced for ourselves and others; for the brilliance of our scientists; for the very many key workers in our communities who, sometimes at personal risk and sacrifice have kept essential services going. We pray for all who care for others that God would be with them and for wisdom to all those in authority to guide them as they make decisions for our country and our town. We look forward to when we can truly be together again and give thanks that knowing that in Christ we have a friend who is walking every difficult step of the way with us.May the joy and hope of Christ be born in you this Epiphany and we wish you a peaceful 2021 from us all at St Richard's.
