Archives Display of Willingdon Village, Parish Church, Ratton Manor and WW1 Airship Station. Short talk on church history 2.15pm

The church will be full of archives relating to various sections of Willingdon parish: The history and architecture of the Parish Church, the Village including many historic properties with photographs and descriptions. A section will be on Ratton Manor and the Lords of the Manor, displayed in the Ratton Manorial Chapel within the church. Included is a display of photographs and information on the WW1 Royal Naval Air Station in the parish. See how our bells were removed and restored. A short talk will be given at 2.15pm on the stained glass in the church which dates from 17th century to 20th century, some by eminent artists. The church archivist and stewards will be there to provide information and answer questions.
