Wivelsfield Parish Church

We join the nation in giving thanks for the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and for her life of exemplary and devoted Christian service.  We will reflect on her life in services during the period of mourning.  The Church is open daily for personal prayer between 9am and 6pm and flowers may be laid at the war memorial in the Churchyard.

A Book of Remembrance will be available in the Church at the following times:

Mon 12th Sept to Sat 17th Sept 10am to 2pm

Thu 15th Sept 5.30pm to 7.30pm

Sun 18th Sept 12 noon to 2pm

The parish of Wivelsfield: St Peter & St John the Baptist is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.  For further Safeguarding Information or advice, please see the "Safeguarding" tab in the menu.
