Spring concert: 'The Gift to be Simple'

Occurring
for 2 hours, 30 mins
Venue
All Saints, Seagrave
Address
Church Street Seagrave Loughborough LE12 7LT, LE12 7LT, United Kingdom

Following their brief appearance at the flower festival last year, The Newstead Abbey Singers return to Seagrave with a mixed programme of songs, old and new. As well as the old Shaker song 'The gift to be simple', the programme will include 'My spirit sang all day'; 'O Danny boy'; and 'I do like to be beside the seaside'. It will also feature instrumental pieces for flute and piano. Tickets are £10 each and include interval refreshments, available from the PCC Secretary via email (use the 'Get in touch' link) or on the door. Proceeds will be in aid of church repairs, including fixing the North porch. A test pit was dug in late January and we await the engineer’s assessment of what is required!
