A service for The word Ultreya is one of encouragement – it means keep going! This was the cry to be heard by pilgrims on their way to the shrine of St James at Compostella, as a means of encouraging one another.

In Cursillo “Ultreyas” are area meetings, which are held on a regular basis as a means of encouragement. A central feature of an Ultreya is the ‘witness talk’ where from listening to the ways in which someone else is living out their Christian calling we can draw encouragement.

Sunday evening services alternating between a Service of Holy Communion and Evening Song

St Mary's Church offers a warm welcome to all. The church is open all day every Friday from 9.30am to 4pm.

On the 2nd Friday of the month come for a chat, a coffee and a chance to sample delicious cakes and biscuits . Many home made by our community. We offer a friendly atmosphere and an oportunity to make new friends.
