Dear Friends,This week the ministry team have been learning more about the technology we are using both to communicate with you and to broadcast our services. Hopefully you will be able to view the Herald which we have taken online for the first time. We had a few challenges actually getting it sorted but we got there in the end. It is now up on our Facebook page and website and I hope that it is also in this email, if I've pressed the right buttons! You can find links to all our online sites in the Herald along with contact details for the ministry team.Do please let us know your thoughts on both the content and the format. You will see that for the remainder of July we shall be continuing with our online services while we review and make plans for a return to our church building for Sunday services. Our first two Saturdays of being open for private prayer and visitors have gone smoothly and allowed us to test out our Covid safe systems. It has been lovely to welcome people back through our doors.Daily Prayer, Midweek Communion and the Ministers Muse continue as usual so do please stay connected to God and to one another.Sunday Morning Worship9.00am Morning Prayer on Facebook10.45am Holy Communion live streamed on Youtube or you can join the service via the Zoom link (contact us for link)Join the Zoom call from 10.30am and when the service finishes the call will stay open for a social time for half an hour afterwards.Sunday Evening Worship7.00pm Conversation & Compline live streamed on YoutubeThis week I shall be joined by members of our congregation who have recently completed Journey in Faith, a course that helps people learn more about the Christian faith and grow in discipleship. We are pleased to announce that from this Saturday, 4th July, our church building will reopen from 10am - 2pm for those wishing to come and pray or simply be still in sacred space. We have been undertaking a thorough risk assessment and putting in place systems to allow you to visit safely. The building will be stewarded and we ask that you follow the instructions given including:Clean your hands when entering and exiting the buildingUse the one one way system in placeRespect social distancing of 2 meters from those not in your householdOur intention is to open every Saturday but this will be subject to available volunteer stewards. If you would like to apply to be a steward we would be very pleased to hear from you. In the first instance please email office@allsaintsloughborough.org.uk for an application form. We will be keeping the situation under review in the light of national guidance and the possiblity of local lockdowns but our hope is that once again Loughborough's Historic Parish Church would be a place of welcome for all.ThanksReverend Wendy DalrympleRector of All Saints with Holy Trinity
Catch Emma on Facebook Live this Thursday 6.00pm-6.30pm to learn the congregational hymns and songs for the Sunday morning service. This week she will be teaching from scratch the worship song ‘I will offer up my life’ which is our Offertory Hymn for this Sunday. The lyrics are here if you’d like to get them ready, but they will also be on the Live Stream post: http://www.christianwebresources.co.uk/hymns/hymn/568/
