About Us

This ancient Church known locally as the Cathedral of the Dales built to the glory of God, by the monks of West Dereham, has been here for over 500 years.
It stands on a site, where for well over 1000 years there has been a place of Christian worship for people of the Parish and visitors alike.

The building is open every day from 9am-early evening, WE WELCOME YOU as visitors & Pilgrims. Our main Sunday service is usually a Sung Eucharist with hymns, which commences at 10am, and refreshments are served at the end of the service. The format is suitable for all ages. Please see the church website for occasional variations in time of service  www.kirkbymalhamchurch.org and our Facebook page for up to date news of what's happening each week www.facebook.com/KirkbyMalhamChurch

The pattern on the first Sunday of each month is different: 8.30am BCP Holy Communion in the Lady Chapel, and 10am Family Worship (non-communion), a service especially suitable for families with children, and those of all ages who would prefer a less formal non-communion service.

A keen team of bellringers meets on Tuesdays (7.30pm - 9pm ) for practice.

All our groups welcome new members.
