Getting here

The church of S Eustachius is situated in the centre of the historic market town of Tavistock, next to the ruins of the old Abbey. The church is open daily, both for services and as a quiet space for reflection and historical interest.
The church uses Common Worship for its main Eucharistic services, supplemented by the BCP for Evensong, plus occasional services. The Eucharist may be celebrated by a male or a female priest; evensong is led by a priest or a reader.
There is a choir (except in August) and an organ which provides the music at the main morning and evening services, plus occasional services. We use 'The Mass of St. Thomas' by Thorne, and 'Common Praise', plus additional psalms and hymns from supplementary sources.
Children are welcome in the church and there is a toy corner at the front of one of the side aisles.
There is a hearing loop, and large-print service sheets available; there are no steps to the door.
Enjoy spending time in our lovely church and town!
