The Church of St Mary & All Saints is one of the oldest churches in the Diocese of Norwich still in regular use for worship. It has a central tower which leads to an interesting internal arrangement. There are several Saxon features to be found in the church along with fragments of wall painting from the 14th and 15th centuries.

In Newton the population is only 25.

There is an urgent need to retile the nave at an estimated cost of £15,000.00.

If you have had any previous connection with, or a love of, St Mary and All Saints Church then we invite you to help the congregation to retain this building for future years.

Donations may be sent to the Church Treasurer – Mr. Stephen Laing, BroadMeadow Cottage, St. James Road, Newton by Castle Acre, PE32 2BZ

Cheques should be made payable to Newton Church Appeal Fund .
