Our Building

St Mary's is a Grade 2 listed building. Largely rebuilt following a fire in 1977, the church is a wonderful combination of old (Norman, Tudor etc) and stunning new (20th century). Leaflets on the history of the church available.


Music and Worship

Bells are rung weekly before the main Sunday services and on special occasions. Practice takes place on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. For more info see our website: www.stmarybarnes.org or email [email protected]

We run regular Christianity explored courses. Information available in church, in the pewsheets, on our website and from the Church Office.

We have a FoodBank box in church for those who would like to donate (tins, packets only please).

Charity coffee mornings held every saturday morning between 10.30 and 12.15. Fairtrade coffee and tea and homemade cakes.

Welcome at our main Sunday morning services (10am weekly) and 11.30 (twice a month). See too our Playgroup, MIni Mary's.

Mini Mary's, our weekly playgroup, is held every Thursday morning in the Kitson Hall. Mothers/carers must remain with the children. More details on our website www.stmarybarnes.org
