Good Friday reflection

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
St George's Nine Elms
Address
St George's Nine Elms, 11 Patmore Street, Thessaly Road, Battersea, SW8 2PD, United Kingdom

On this solemn day we remember Christ's final night and day, from the agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, the betrayals and trials to his death on the cross. As we gather today, for led prayers and private reflection, the church is arranged for people to walk around the various scenes of the Passion story. There will be words, objects and images to help us remember and appreciate the wonderful sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Everyone is welcome to join us.

St Saviour Battersea Park

St Saviour's on Battersea Park Road is a welcoming church family that  enjoys gathering on Sundays for worship, learning and friendship. Our worship includes a mix of traditional and contemporary words and hymns, with times for sharing and learning. There is always something for children, either Sunday School or activities, and we always make time for meeting others and for friendship. We meet in a traditional building on Battersea Park Road and would love to welcome you if you're in the neighbourhood.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Battersea Fields is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Southwark’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Johanna Clarke c/o the church office email: [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Helpline (9am to 5pm) on 020 7932 1224.
If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
