Recently an inspection of St John the Baptist church was undertaken by a qualified surveyor. This happens every five years. (A Quinquennial)

At the same time builders were employed for a morning to repair any deterioration that has occurred since the last inspection. This was an ideal opportunity to fix a few damp areas and clear the drainage gulleys. There is still so much to do but funds are very low. Please see our donation section if you are able to make a contribution towards the upkeep of SJB or would like to leave a legacy.

A churchyard clear up  has been done too. I think everyone will agree the visibility of the church from the road is improved considerably.
