Can you get married in All Hallows?

If you are resident in the parish of Ordsall you have a legal right to be married in the parish church, so long as:

1) You are over 18

People who wish to marry between the ages of 16 and 18 need the permission of parents or legal guardians.

2) You have not been married before

If you (or one of you) have been married before it is still possible to marry in Ordsall church.  You will need to make an appointment to speak to the Vicar.

3) You are not closely related.

There are restrictions on who may marry if you are related or were brought up together.

If you are not resident in the parish but have strong links with the church it may be possible to marry at Ordsall.  Again, please contact us for more details.
