Getting here

St Giles is the small, friendly parish church of the village of Barlestone.

If you approach the village from the A447 you will come in on either Bosworth Road or Barton Road; we recommend using the latter as Bosworth Road is a very narrow country lane. You will soon find yourself in the centre of the village where you will see the Co-op and a large pit wheel. Keeping the Co-op on your right carry on until the main road takes a sharp right near the Baptist chapel, the chip shop and the Elohim church. Go straight on (which is actually a left turn off the road you will be on) keeping the chip shop on your left and the Elohim church on your right. Church Road is approximately 250 yards/metres from that junction on your left. St Giles is at the end of Church Road.

If you approach the village from Newbold Verdon you will come in on Newbold Road. Follow to a sharp left hand turn with the Baptist chapel immediately in front of you. Turn right, keeping the chip shop on your left and the Elohim church on your right. Church Road is approximately 250 yards/metres from that junction on your left. St Giles is at the end of Church Road.

If you approach the village from Bagworth/B585 you will come in on Bagworth Road. You will pass a left hand turn called Washpit Lane and then go round a sharp right hand bend. Church Road is approximately 100 yards/metres from that bend on your right hand side. St Giles is at the end of Church Road.

NOTE: parking on Church Road is very limited.
