Safeguarding

The parish of Groby: St Philip and St James is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. Our PSO is Fiona Brooks and if you have any concerns you may contact her on [email protected].

The Diocese of Leicester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. You can find this at:

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA - full details of how to do this at any time are available on the website above. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

The video on this page is edited from a livestream service in our benefice at which we focus on the importance of safeguarding as a core expression of our Christian faith.
