Church of England Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham Plumtree

Plumtree: St Mary

Welcome to St Mary's, at the heart of the small village of Plumtree in Nottinghamshire.

We hold a service of Holy Communion on Sunday and Wednesday mornings at 10:30.

For advice on Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals, please contact the Rector, Revd Trevor Kirkman.

We continue to pray for those who have been afflicted by Coronavirus; those who are particularly vulnerable to it because of age and/or existing medical conditions and those who are working tirelessly in science laboratories, hospitals and GP surgeries to come to the aid of those affected.

Ensuring that children and young people, as well as adults, are kept safe whilst in our care is an integral part of our church life. If you have any concerns about safeguarding, please see our Safeguarding page.

A service of Holy Communion in the time of social distancing.

There will be some changes from our old routine to ensure social distancing throughout your time in church and in the churchyard. You must wear a face covering throughout the service.

In addition, there will be:
• no singing;
• no tea/coffee after the service.

Read the COVID-19 notices in church and follow social distancing guidelines to keep everyone safe. In particular, please make sure there is no one in the porch before entering.

Please do not come to St Mary's if you feel unsafe, if you are suffering from COVID-19 symptoms, or think you may have come into contact with someone who has COVID-19.
