BRENDA ENTWISTLE – funeral service will take place THIS Thursday 30th July at 10:45am in Saint Cuthbert’s church, Darwen.

CRAFT STASH SALE - Jane, Anne, Claire and Diane intend to hold a "craft stash sale" on Saturday 15th August from 10am - 2pm in Saint Cuthbert's church. Refreshments will be available. If you have any stash (art, papercraft, needlecraft etc) please pass on to us. Thank you.

MU CARAVAN APPEAL - A holiday has been arranged for a Nigerian family (mother, 21 yr old twins and a 13yr old) in the caravan starting on 15th August. The family have been recommended to me by the DARE project manager as a family who would benefit from a few days “away from it all” as recent years have been particularly difficult for them. They have a very limited income and I would like to give them a little help with their food shopping and bus fares. I feel this is a big ask after the many very generous donations you recently made by sponsoring my granddaughter’s half marathon in aid of the 150th anniversary challenge.
