JIGSAW NIGHT - Saturday 25th April, 7pm start. Tickets are free. Donations will be
accepted. Bar, refreshments and nibbles. Looking for teams of 4-8 and each team will
compete over the night to complete their jigsaw (500 piece) first. Or we stop at a selected time if nobody has completed theirs and the closest to completion wins. There is a list in the North aisle to sign up. We need names so that we have an idea of the number of people we are accommodating. Thank you.

Our Sunday services are for all ages and we cater for those who are
0-90+. Incense is used within some services. Traditional hymns are led by
a choir and organ. We also have a Sunday School and crèche area for toddlers and their parents.
Refreshments of tea & coffee, biscuits and (sometimes cakes) are
served after the service.

The Darwen Vineyard Midweek Group are running an Alpha course at Derwent Hall, George St, Darwen BB3 1AY on Wednesday evenings 7-9pm, starting on Wednesday 15th April. The Alpha course is designed to encourage conversation and explore the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. It runs over 11 weeks. There is no charge. Everyone welcome. WHALLEY MOTHERS UNION DEANERY FESTIVAL - is being held in Saint Cuthbert's
church on Wednesday May 6th at 7pm.

SCADS will be putting on their next production on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th May starting at 7pm in Saint Cuthbert's church. There are two versions of the
Murder Mystery so please feel free to attend both nights if you wish.

We are going to drop a postcard through every door in the Saint Cuthbert's part of the parish asking the residents to complete a questionnaire regarding their thoughts and ideas for the church building. These will be available on Sunday 19th April and we hope that people will take a pile to deliver, in the same way as we deliver all the Christmas cards. In a follow up to this we will be holding COFFEE MORNINGS on
Saturday 16th Saturday 30th May from 10am until 12noon, inviting the people of the parish to join us and offering help with the questionnaire if needed. Please try to get to these coffee mornings to welcome everyone.

PANTO AUDITIONS - Sunday 19th April from 2pm in Saint Cuthbert's school.

SCADS WORK DAY - the next work day will be on Saturday 16th May from 10am until 4pm. Please bob into school and lend a helping hand. There is plenty to do.

Our evening service is a spiritual home for all, sung by our parish church choir. The service follows the Book of Common Prayer format with sung Hymns, Psalms, Magnificat and Nunc Dimitis.
