St Mary-the-Virgin is a Norman church in the rural north Buckinghamshire hamlet of Addington, part of Winslow benefice.

Special services are held a few times a year, when regular services are held at the other churches in the Benefice, such as St Laurence and St James'.

Celtic Communion service for the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Join us for a special Celtic Communion service celebrating the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with prayers, readings and quiet reflection inspired by the Celtic Christian tradition.

The service will take place at St Mary-the-Virgin, our beautiful little Norman church in the heart of the rural hamlet of Addington, part of the Winslow Benefice. Services are held here only a few times each year, making this a special opportunity to worship in one of north Buckinghamshire’s hidden gems.

Everyone is warmly welcome.
