Church of England Diocese of Oxford Crowmarsh Gifford and Newnham Murren

Crowmarsh Gifford: St Mary Magdalene

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, our church building is currently closed except by appointment for private prayer or for funerals.  However, our worship continues online on the Wallingford Team's YouTube channel where you can join us for a Sunday service each week from 10am, followed by a virtual coffee on Zoom.

At all other times...  A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at services in St. Mary Magdalene, Crowmarsh Gifford, a beautiful Norman village church in the Wallingford Team.

Our Sunday morning services are all at 11.00am.  On the first Sunday of each month we have a Family Service where children and families are especially welcome.  On subsequent Sundays Parish Communion is celebrated.  Periodically a Team Communion is celebrated in one or other of the three parishes in the benefice.

The parish of Crowmarsh Gifford is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
